This is an outstanding site containing a series of power point presentations (lessons) for a wide variety of specialized topics in all fields. An excellent site for ABE students.  You can log in using the parmaable@yahoo.com email address and the password parma. In the upper right hand corner choose either ABE/ESL or General Education to view appropriate lessons.

This site contains links to printable materials that can be used in the classroom.  Select a topic from the left hand menu and you will be directed to a page from which you can select printable handouts (pdf) for a variety of topics.  The "Stories" link will direct you to a page of books (several different levels are available).  Click on a book and the accompanying audio will read the text as it is highlighted.
