Students need basic computer and technological skills to be successful in moving on to college, and to succeed in college, and to succeed in the workplace, and in taking additional computer courses. The basic tech skills must include the ability to: 1) identify and describe the basic components of a computer, and 2) define and use common computer terminology, including basic computer operations such as input, processing, storage, and output. In addition, the following basic tech skills listed below are needed.

A starter pack filled with essential materials to help them on their educational journey is provided to those students whose attendance indicates a strong commitment to the program.

An occasional raffle will also reward good attendance behavior.
